A finance function built by an operator, run alongside your CPA.
Vancouver.Finance is where Ali Sedighi's team gives British Columbia companies the cash flow, pricing, forecasting and reporting a CFO would bring, at the size and price that fits them. 19 years of running companies sit behind every number.
What this practice is
Most companies between half a million and thirty million in revenue have a bookkeeper, a CPA at year end, and nobody in between. The bookkeeper records what happened. The CPA files what happened. Nobody is deciding what should happen next with cash, prices, costs and capital. That is the seat we fill: the thinking part of finance, on a fractional basis, with the systems to make it stick.
The practice sits inside a wider firm. vancouver.financial handles valuations, sales, acquisitions and financing. BizSell.ca handles brokerage. SAZ runs strategy and AI engagements for larger companies. canadian.consulting covers growth and operations, and vancouver.team supplies fractional executives and outsourced departments. One founder, one phone number, one team.
How we work
- Numbers before opinions. We read the statements, the bank, the pipeline and the job or product data before we say what to change.
- Weekly, not annual. Finance is a cadence. We set up the four numbers, the 13-week cash flow and the monthly close so you see the business as it moves.
- Alongside your CPA. Tax, assurance and filings stay with your accountant. We make their job easier with clean, timely books and we never give tax advice.
- Honest fit. If a good bookkeeper and a quarterly call would solve it, we say so on the first call.
- Confidential by default. NDAs on request, and no public listing without your approval.
The team
Ali leads every engagement personally. Behind him is a bench of more than thirty specialists distributed across Canada who join by function: financial modellers, dashboard builders, automation engineers for collections and reporting, CRM architects for the quote-to-cash process, and operations consultants for the cost base.
Start with a finance review.
Ninety minutes with Ali on your cash, margin and pricing. You leave with the four numbers to watch and the two or three moves that change them, whether or not we work together.
